25 specially trained Giggle Doctors

By combining music, play, magic and storytelling our Giggle Doctors bring joy and laughter to brave children in challenging times. From Dr Bungee to Dr Yoho, our Giggle Doctors wear their very own ‘doctor coats’, which represents their character, and spend time one to one with the children.

Giggle Doctor Training

At Theodora’s we take the training of the Giggle Doctors very seriously, ensuring the safety of the Giggle Doctors, hospital staff, and the children we visit and their families. During their intensive 2 year training, Giggle Doctors cover both clinical training such as infection control and artistic training, which helps them to adapt their artistic skills to the hospital environment.

Hi Im Dr Scribble, I love to draw! Did you know I have the worlds biggest collection of colouring pens? My house is made out of pencils and I made my hat out of sellotape!…its great except now I cant take it off! I hope we can do some drawing together soon, we could draw animals? A circus? A musical instrument? Anything you like!

Dr Teapot

Hello it's Dr Teapot here, TEAlightful to meet you! I love to brew up fun and laughter on the wards, and am Potty about being a Giggle Doctor. I live in a giant red teapot in the village of Wobblyspoon, and fly to hospitals in my Jellycopter. I have a pet TEA-Rex called Tetley, and a pet moustache called Bob...I'd tell you a story about him, but I'll have to shave it for later. Anyway...must-dash!

Dr Whoopee

Dr Whoopee has been a Giggle Doctor for over 7 years. She visits children in hospitals and specialist care centres across England. By combining music, play, magic and storytelling, she brings magical moments to brave children in challenging times.

Dr Yo-Ho

Ahoy there! I’m Dr Yo-Ho, I’m a pirate I’ve been sailing the seven seas on my pirate ship ‘The Jolly Jelly Bean” My friends are Colin the shark, and daisy the pirate duck! My favourite letters are ‘C’ -the big blue watery thing ‘R’-that’s what pirates say and ‘X’ -because that’s where we’ll find the treasure!
